E381 – 15U Blue Team won gold medal on Challenge Cup

A solid performance gave the E381- 15U Blue Team the gold medal at the OVA tournament Challenge Cup – Cambridge  on January 14, 2012. The final game played against the 15U Tigers Black was full of exciting rallies and fantastic plays, the score was 25-19 and 25-21. The team did not lose any sets during the tournament. Girls 14U Blue won Bronze Medal on ChallengeCup in Newmarket

The second medal for E381 for this season  was attained on December 17, 2011. After dropping second set in dramatic finish at 24 points,  Girls U14 Blue Team came back in third one to win Bronze at  the Challenge Cup in Newmarket.

Etobicoke 381 Volleyball Summer 2011 Camp

The camp is a great opportunity for young players to improve their
technique and learn the essential volleyball skills of passing, setting,
blocking, hitting and serving. There will be a physical fitness component every day, and also specific position drills.

Players will be divided into groups based on age, gender, and skill level.
Camp hours are 9:00AM – 4:00PM with a lunch break from 12-1PM.
The coach will be Zoran Manojlovic.

Volleyball Picnic on 15-May-2011

We are going to have volleyball picnic next weekend.
We are targeting Sunday 3 pm, but we will have to confirm that based on weather.
I will bring net and court. Who has portable BBQ?
Location will be either St. James Garden or Old Mill park. (To avoid paying for parking by Sunnyside pool.)
Bring your family, friends, cousins… along with bicycles, Rollerblades…

Girls 13U won Gold

Tireless E381 U13 team won Division 1-Tier 2 Gold on their first performance at provincials.
This was an exiting tournament for the team made up of mainly rookie players. Although the team lost two very close matches on the opening day, the team was unstoppable with 4 wins in the rest of the tournament.

Girls 15U advanced 20 positions

On provincial tournament after 5 wins in a row and two defeats Girls 15U team jumped 20 positions in rank in Division 2. Unfortunately, after the injury of Sofia Herrera they had to settle with position in top 16.
